down time
though provides good free web-hosting services, down time is way too frequent.

Honest
Half a year ago I was in need for the web hosting account but I wanted free one. And I have signed up with host-ed.net and had no idea if they were free or paid. And I was asked to pay for the service and I did (I though that was needed as one time payment). In few days I understand that I have missed web hosts and ask them for the refund. They sent it immediately and that impressed me. How honest they were! So when I was in need for the shared and paid account I decided to give that honest host a try. Now I have been using them for 2 month and I haven't had any single problem with them.

Not really "on the ball"
Downtime is just too much. You want to forgive them because they offer really good free hosting, but I am paying and now I am paying for too much downtime.

Good Good
Well there were a few times that I had problems with sending email. For example when I send an email to gmail this email was directly delivered to the spam folder.
Otherwise uptime is good and the server I am hosted at is fast.
My over all conclusion is that they are good and it is worth trying them.

The best
I am very happy to host on host-ed.net. I got good first impression after visiting host-ed.net - stylish and professional. Their load time appeared quicker than many and they also have more features.

It just works fine
I've been with Host-ed.net for a bit over 2 years- they are the third web host I've used, and has been the best value and best service of any of them. In the past year, I've had near zero downtime. It was even better than my local network - always resolved within minutes.
The only dealing with support has been easy, quick and painless- though I've only needed some "housekeeping" chores performed- spf records and such- though I do think they need a new help desk system.
I currently have 3 domains on one plan, have never had a problem with billing- I did have an expired card on file, but because I always make certain I have a valid email address not related to my domain, I was notified well in advance and could take care of it (for any host, I make sure I have a good email address and fairly current backups of the sites).
Every year I shop around for other hosts before "re-upping", but I just have not found any real reason to switch.
